The preliminary contest of International Students Chinese Contest was held

OnOctober.12th the preliminary contest of the 7th Jiangxi Foreign Students Chinese Contest was held by theSchool Of InternationalEducation. Twocontestants with the highest level of Chinese and the best talent show were selected. They will representJXUST,compete with contestants from other universities in the semi-final on Oct. 26th.The vice dean of Wang Hang and Xiao jing, the teacher of Fu Haojun from the School Of International Education and foreigner teachers of Miss Proshe and Mr.Asimwas specially invited to be one of the judges in the preliminary contest.

The competition was divided into three parts. In the first part of the self-introduction, contestants introduced their hometown, interests and theirlove forChina.

The second part wasthe Chinese speech.Each contestant will give a speech in Chinese. The main content is the feeling of studying abroad in China, and talk about the development and changes in China in recent years from their own perspective. The performance of each contestant made the audience applaud.

There is also a question-and-answer session in the competition, in which everyone can participate, and the person who answers the question correctly will be the lucky one to win the prize.

The lastconjunctions into sentencessession was the most challenging part. The contestantsselected the question card, then combined separated words into a complete Chinese sentence. Contestants feel difficult about this part, but they tried their best to understand words and put into sentence.

At the end of the three-part competition, the representatives of the judging panel made pertinent comments on the contestants' Chinese level and talent level. In the end, 2contestantswon the first prize, 3contestantswon the second prize and 5contestantswon the third prize. Under the guidance of the language teacher, the first prize winner will make full preparations for the replay.
